I'm so happy. I finally found my perfect class, the Blade. MMM is one of my favorite mage spells, and due to the "bug", combined with offensive/defensive spin...wow.

Back to the topic. I am having some trouble selecting a proficiency. Some weapons that I am considering using are: FoA, Celestial Fury, Crom, Axe of Unyeilding, Dagger of the Star, the Purifier (once I get UAI), Dragon's Breath (The FoA halberd without slow), the Answerer, and others. Its quite an extensive list, and i'm having some trouble selecting the weapon(s) that I will use for the game. Any suggestions would be appreciated, arguements would be best.

Since a Blade throwing Meteors is [usually] standing quite far from its enemies, hurting their melee abilities (Ages' specialty) loses from its effectiveness. Plus, the Meteors deal fire damage which cuts right through Stoneskin, so elemental damage (Ages' 2nd specialty) isn't required.

Fury is a top contender, here. Since your Blade's THAC0 isn't exactly rock bottom to ensure that every strike is a hit, Fury's Stun effect (stun = auto hits) can be amazing for you. Your Blade can also throw a Greater Malison to increase Fury's rate of success dramatically.

Stunning the enemies is one way to ensure that you'll hit them. Lowering your THAC0 is a different alternative, and it's just as good. Nothing can lower your THAC0 like the almighty Crom Faeyr. Crom will help your Meteors to hit more rapidly, and to deal more damage.

In my opinion, it a toss up between Fury and Crom. Whichever you prefer.

By the way, Dragon's Breath is a two handed weapon - so dual wielding it is impossible.

Yes..I know. I do like the Ravager, though. The instant death has no save, unlike the AoU or SS. Anyway, i'm not going to use MMM as my primary attack..just when I need it or get bored of making mincemeat out of everyone

And the answerer is a nice one too,.. the down side to the answerer is basically that you'll never be the first one that lands a strike.
But being a blade, you wont get hit anywayz .. so that doesnt matter.
Further on, the answerer gives you more room for other lvl 5 spells
( wont need as much LR for spell-selection, even in boss-fights), and it makes sure your relatively high THAC0 doesnt matter. ( it lowers the opponents AC with every hit )

Does the +5 THAC0 bonus from MMM still apply if you use this bug to throw another weapon?

I think it does, as it is still part of MMM.

I'm also trying to get a large speed/number of attacks. Belm, Kundane, Boots of Speed, and Offensive Spin together make for a nice combo. This isnt completely viable, however, as Kundane and Belm are +2 and +3, respectively (iirc).

Yes, the Ravager is just sick. Probably the only weapon in the game who can compete the Staff of the Magi on the cheesiness award.

Don't underestimate these little balls of fire. The have an amazing rate of fire, deal decent damage, cuts through Stonskin, kills trolls and even (albeit slowly) remove Spell Protections!

Improved Haste does wonders.

Both Kundane and Belm are +2 weapons.

Is Short sword+Scimitar a good combination? And if yes, what are the better weapons of each kind?

P.S. I have the "anti-drizzt" mod, so I keep his +5 scimitar.
