plannning to play soa-tob straight threw multi-player, and i was wondering what the max xp for a human sorc in soa is, also because i am nub can i get the names of spell combos offensive and defensive

Welcome to the Ironworks.
A sorc can get the same max XP as any other class. 2.95 million in SoA, 8 million with ToB installed. As for tactics, one of our moderators, Dundee slaytern, has a few links in his signature that should prove useful. Also theres the BG2 spell reference, http://members.chello.nl/~j.vanthull/BG2SR/Home.htm which contains various tactics and exploits that should be useful.
