So? What items can I upgrade, and how do I upgrade them?

The Mace of Disruption +1 is the only weapon that can be upgraded in SOA IIRC. You need Illithium from the Sir Sarles quest, you have to be dishonest to keep it. The Mace of Disruption +1 is found in a pool of blood in Bodhi's Dungeon (in the Crypts below the Graveyard). Take it along with the Illithium to Cromwell in the Docks District to get it upgraded.

You can't per se upgrade any items except the mace of disruption +2 in BG2, in ToB that's a different matter altogether.

The item upgrade mod also gives you the opportunity to power up some items. You could also say that Cromwell "upgrades" the Hammer of Thunderbolts to Crom Faeyr.

You can upgrade 2 shafts a string, and a blade into 2 useful weapons; you can upgrade a hilt and a blade into one *very* powerful weapon, you can upgrade a hilt, pommel jewel and a blade into a decent sword, you can upgrade the Mace of Disruption, you can upgrade a warhammer... and all by going to Cromwell in the Docks district.

You can also upgrade the Horn of Valhalla - twice - by going to one of the merchants in the Promenade. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I've created the Gesen bow, the vorpal sword, the equalizer, a few armors, I still have a broken sword, and how do I upgrade the mace of Disruption and the Horn of Valhalla?

I wouldnt call them upgrades, more like item creation - they are reforged into a weapon by cromwell. On their own you cant use them since their only a individual part of a weapon. Read my post above and take the items to Cromwell in the docks district

Broken sword is useless, drop it.
Mace of Disruption - take it to Cromwell with 200 pounds of pure Illithium.
Horn of Valhalla - You need a diamond and a Beljuril IIRC; take it to one of the Merchants in the Promenade- forget which one, though
