I have Imogen back and she is the only thief in the party now but cannot unlock doors or disarm traps (she has unlock skill of 95%) I therefore cannot get into the secret doors in the maze under the asylum. Any solutions?
Also can you change professions mid game or are characters stuck

have Imoen memorize knock so if she fails she can still open the door. also see if you have a potion of mastery thievery

I used some Imogen to unclog the kitchen sink last week. Works great!

T'zang T'zi, do you have a foreign language version of Baldur's Gate II? I was just wondering b/c you spelled it Imogen multiple times.

Anyway, as said before, Knock will open ANY door that can be opened by lockpick. In addition, mirror image can be useful for taking the damage from traps. Btw

Don't try to disarm that one trap in the maze under the asylum (The one where the things come from the side and smash you) just ignore it.. (that means go around it, not through it =)

I'm using Imoen right now, and I can say that I've yet to find a lock that 95% Locks won't open, UNLESS that door requires a key or something similar. This is most likely your problem, as the only "secret doors" under the asylum (that I can recall, anyway) are triggered by keys or other events. (Monster paintings, turning the horseshoe-shaped wheel, etc.)

For some reason, i really do not like imoen as a thief. her abilities as a thief seem a bit limited so i like creating my own one [img]smile.gif[/img]

i really like a fighter dualed to a thief who then uses the Holy Avenger at later levels!!!

i've noticed this complaint alot
I heard some mod was suppose to put her points into skills that make more sense for a level 7 thief. but i don't know what happened. I don't consider it cheating to play with her stats if you don't add extra
