I was wondering... does Tiris (the dude in Trademee who's girlfriend was kidnapped by the Skin Dancer) come to you out of himself?

What do you mean? The quest start? It will start, when you finish the Druid Grove quest. However, it will be the mother of Tiris, who will speak to you and ask you to visit them, not Tiris himself. Tiris is too scared to leave his home...

Of course!! *feels very stupid* Can you imagine that?! I've played BG2 and I still say that Tiris will come to you.. Anyway, yeah I meant the start of the quest, for I have already done the Trademeet quest with the druids, the Dao Djinni and the Rivaling Families, so I was wondering where I needed to walk for the mother (in this case.. D'oh!) to come and see me.

She appears as soon as i arrive in trademeet. Thats usually at the South East gate. You have to have exposed Rejiek first of coarse.

Naturally.. but she hasn't appeared yet, so that really bugs me off.. I mean, I wanted to finish BG2 with a high level party this time (instead of level 26 max, the last time :S). Tiris' mother not appearing IS a bug right?

It also happened to me that the Tiris-quest wouldn't began. Perhaps it was because I didn't solve the Skinner murder -quest properly (that guard, can't remember his name, didn't go to the tanner's house, I just dashed in, bullied him and then he ported away in the basement). Could have been that. Dunno really.

Did you try telling the guard who the killer was when you were done?
