Hello im new to this forum and i would like to know your opinions on this: Should I go through BaldursGate1 Befor using GateKeeper?

First off, Welcome to the Forums!!

Definitely before. Using GateKeeper the first time will spoil the game for you, and won't be as enjoyable.

I agree.
Try avoiding any cheats, if possible.
I cheated on BGII, and because of it, I enjoyed BGI more, because I won with my own power, not with any help.

Ditto. I mean, the game is a Role-playing game. Just killing everything in your way by cheating isnt fun, the hours rolling stats and the subquests and item-finding and constant reloading due to dying mages (generally) are all part of the game
