I want a full install of SoA. However, I quit at one point through the installation process and now my computer thinks I have the game installed. I cannot do anything in the game. When I try to 'uninstall it', nothing happens. How do I remove it to start again? I know this probably involves messing with the registry and I don't want my computer to explode...
Thanks for any help.

Question Mark

Anyone? I cannot uninstall it (because it isn't installed) but I can't install it (because it is installed!!!) This is getting annoying.

Start -> Run -> Type Regedit

Go through, and delete *only* those things that say Blackisle, Bioware or Interplay.

If you stick to *only* those, it won`t affect anything else. Unless you have BG1, IWD, or NWN on your comp, in which case it will uninstall them aswell.

Be VERY careful when using regedit.

Hmmm..... I suppose my solution would be.....

To go onto the CD and run Setup.exe direct off the CD, without going through autorun. I've done that a few times when the computer hasn't recognised that I don't have the game installed.

Nope, nothing's working. I guess my only option is to stash all my stuff on a disc then reinstall Windows. Wish me luck...
PS Thanks for the advice.
