Vermont is one of the states I wish to visit someday. Did you know the maple syrup in Vermont is the best anywhere? I bet Canadians will disagree but Vermont has the most strict policies on how it's made and how they're classified than anywhere else. Makers can get shut down if they don't follow state guidelines.

I spent a little while one night just reading all about maple syrup online and the classifications and that is what I remember most. Vermont = Best.
