Cleric Spell Selection

What determines the spells that clerics get to choose from? Is it their alignment?

I'm gonna start a Fighter->Cleric and I want to make sure to get a few spells (Armor of Faith, Ironskins, Draw Upon Holy Might, Free Action, Chaotic Commands, Sanctuary, Silence 15', Animate Dead, Protection from Evil 10', True Seeing, Fire Elemental, Finger of Death, Gate)

Is there some resource where I can find the Priest Spell Selection by Alignment?

Also, is there some place where I can find the Innate Abilities Selection by Alignment (I wanna get Horror - great fun for large, low level groups)

You can`t get all of those.
What determines it is whether you are a Cleric or a Druid.

Ironskins = Druid
PFE 10' = Cleric
Draw on Holy Might = Cleric
Armour of Faith = Both
Animate Dead = Cleric
True Seeing = Both
Chaotic Commands = Both (I think. Maybe just Druid)
Fire Elemental = Druid definately, not sure about Cleric.
Free Action = Cleric
FOD and Gate i`m not sure about.

Paladins get the same spells as Clerics, Rangers get the same spells as Druids, but not as quickly.

Chaotic commands = only cleric
Fire Elemental = only druid

true, but they only get some of the spells. Paladins only get up to level 4 cleric spells, and rangers only get up to level 3 druid spells. Also, rangers start getting spells at level 8, paladins at level 9.

The only cleric spells dependent on alignment are: Holy smite(good)/Unholy Blight(evil), Holy Word/Unholy word, neutrals get both.

You could try a Ranger/cleric in which case they get all the druid and clerical spells (The only spells you won't recieve are unholy word and unholy blight).

White Lancer: Druids do get chaotic commands as well as clerics. Jaheria has it.

IIRC an Unholy word spell is called Blasmphemy (BG2 might have left it unholy so as not to confuse people)

Blasphemy is an IWD spell.

Unholy Word is indeed a BG2 spell.

Are you sure, i'm pretty sure my PC druid didn't get it. Maybe it is one of those spells that Jahiera gets but normal druids dont

Then again, maybe im wrong. I'll check Alson and Co.'s spell reference site... update to follow.

Well, the site doesn't say Cleric only for that spell... I must have been wrong. Seems druids can get Chaotic Commands. I stand corrected.
