I have played BG 2 like 4 times start to finish, (with tob) and it never gets old. It is the only game i wish would never end. I think it kinda sucks that you get your character all bad ass then the game is over. I was hoping NWN would let you import your character (it keeps saying that the whole game), but i heard it won't let you. I don't mind building characters from scratch, but I had 4 characters I was drooling over to import into NWN, and nothing? somebody dropped the ball on that one. just my personal feelings though

BG2 uses 2nd edition rules. NWN uses 3rd edition rules. Therefore, they aren't compatible.

However I'm guessing you could use an editor to recreate the characters if you wanted to use them in NWN.
