about GM..
I was wondering if it would be worth investing in them now, since it's dirt cheap? Could they restructure and make something of themselves again?

I read that they were being taken off of the stock exchange for maybe a year or so. I don't think they will be publically traded for a while. I think I read that on CNN's Money section.

Not unless you like a really exciting short ride. Bankruptcy generally means that the previous stock will now be worthless, so any investment now will be worth nothing in a couple of months.
