And all i can say is...is this it ???? What a lame way to finish a potential great game. Why couldn't i take on the big bad boy myself ? I even feel degraded somewhat. Seriously...Oblivion was a really good game, but it was definitely not what i expected it to be. Compared with Morrowind, it even seems kinda pale, it doesn't have the same flavour of mystery and depth of storyline if you ask me. This game could have been so much better....

Don't you remember reading last summer that the end
wasn't really the end and that Bethesda planed for
and additional few chapters later this summer to
allow us a more content and a dramitic conclusion.
Which now after seeing the Horse Armor being sold
on line I would say that Bethesda has plans of
selling us mods on line & the chapters to follow
will not be for free if my guess is right.
My Budy that worked for Bethesda now went to texas
to work for another game company (Not Bioware)but
he is going to call me soon and I'll find out what
is instore for the Elderscrolls or at least what
he knows as far as the chapters that were removed
in Janurary and Feburary to be used in the expansion this summer.

It's very simple compared to Morrowind. The MQ, that is. And a lot shorter too. But i always knew i was only gonna play the MQ with my first character and let the rest make up their own career. Which is where ES games really shine. I've just started my second, a mage, and already i'm enjoying the absence of responsibility. The emperor is dead! What emperor?

This game could've been much better? I have to agree with that. With Morrowind, it seemed like there were large pieces of the game mechanics left out by the devs. It was almost as though they expected the mod community to patch up what they'd no time or inclination to include. But after seeing such a huge range of morrowind mods to suit every gaming taste, you realise that it is in fact impossible to create a game that is everyone's cup of tea. There's always been blanks to fill in ES games, and Oblivion is no different. But i still can't help but wonder what might have been...
