I have no idea why people go to school. You just work all day. I don't think that school should be this long. I mean 12 years in school. Why? You can easily squeeze 12 years of knowledge into 6-9 years. God! Why? Why? Why?
Tell me WHY! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Because we need to grow up, They're so infatuated like growing up is something that you can shoot up. sorry, that sounded SO much like Confused Youth by Anti-flag . honestly, i dont. we should get paid at the very least, we go one hour less than a standard work day! (15-8=7*5=35) so therefore we should get paid for going since we probably work just as hard as a minimum wage job if not harder. Anyone in my Algebra class will back me on that, im sure...
off-topic edit to a half-topic post: Sephiroth and Nanaki on the same thread, that's rich and wholesome fun for the whole familiy . [ 03-26-2002, 12:42 PM: Message edited by: SSJ4Sephiroth ] |

mostly because without it you grow up to be an ignorant boob. School is also not just about knowledge, it takes time because only with time do you atain wisdom. I don't care how intelligent you are, without time and experience you will not be wise.

How old are you?
I can easily tell you (if you're not there already) that high school and university is much better than elementary school, because you can choose what you want to study, and that helps get the enthusiasm (sp?) going But, of course, who wants to go school? I mean, you will probarbly use less than 10% of what you learn in school in the rest of your life, but a huge part of going to school is develping social skills, how to interact with people, and that's something you can't get anywhere else

Well, with any luck you learn some things that will help you in the rest of your life. And to be perfectly blunt, if you weren't in school, you'd need to work to support yourself so you'd be working all day or night or some combination thereof anyway. That is unless you expect your parents to support you all your life and I doubt they'd like that idea much! Of course, depending on your age and where you live you can quit school and find a grunt job that doesn't need much education. Guess it all depends on what sort of goals you have in life. I guess the simple answer is too learn.
But dnt worry, there is light in the end of that tunnel. After school, comes college. Which I have to say, is the biggest dos ever. It's just cool as fu*k. And then Uni, which is supposed to be even more of a mess!! School will fly by! (I sound like an adult here!), but I only left school last year, and I can being in yr9 (3rd year) seems yesterday!
