Just bought the game would love to play. My system meets all required specs. Starts running, I'm in the opening scenes at the Inn and as soon as I try to talk to any NPC the system freezes. Is there any answer to this or do I bring it back to Electronics Boutique and go for the refund?

I also bought at Electronics Boutique, and they are pretty smart on problem solving...(They told me that my disk needed to be replaced because it was crooked or something, and I did not know that...), anyway, make sure that you have a good running disk. Also, you can call the techs at Interplay, and they may do a walk-through of your computer to make sure all is in order, there. Don't get discouraged!! Many of us are always having problems...

I have the same problem. Please help me. I have returned the game and gotten a new one but I still have the same problem. I get an "assertion failed in chdimm.cpp at line number 582. Programmer says: unable to open Bifata\guimos.bif." What does that mean and how can I get the game to work.
