OMG It all started out of boredom, I had to kill an hour and the FX channel is running the series in order from the beginning...now Im addicted!!! well ok Im not addicted..but did anyone else know how good some of the writing for this show really is? Sheesh I never watched because I assumed it was mindless drivel...a lot of the episodes are quite good, and the story arc is great.

I can't believe Im watching a show called "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" oh the humanity.

lol, I know how you feel, I was in Kuwait for a year and AFRTS (Armed Forces Radio Television Network) only shows episodes of shows about 2 seasons late, it was either that or watch mtv in arabic, and I got hooked on Buffy, Willow in particular, OMG she is hilarious, for those that don't know Alyson Hannigan (Willow) was also in my Stepmother's an Alien; American Pie (1 and 2) as Michelle, the band geek; and a few others.

lol, it's actually a really good show, except for one or two episodes, but I really liked the season where Angel was a bad guy.

You shouldn't judge the show by it name, which wass taken from the movie Buffy the Vampire Slayer. If you never seen this movie you should, it's undesribable just make sure you say buffy and not Boufy as the result is uncomfable to say the least in the video store.

As for the writting it really good, Joss Whedon is great. As are the spinn off, Angel and hopefully what ever Jiles spinn off is called.
Yes I am a fan, wanna make something of it?

I'm a big fan of the show aswell. Its really entertaining but they always show the episodes so long after they're aired in the states. its not fair. nevermind

Buffy is an example of truly great TV. It has it all, pathos, action, suspense, great plot twists, interesting characters and above all, QUALITY WRITING!!!!.

If you have never seen it, give it a try - chances are you'll be hooked (like I am )
