No this is not another medical problem of mine, it's about one of the best band in the world... and somehow one of the most unknown. Has anyone heard them, or even *gasp* like them.
The just released a new album, I havn't heard it yet but so far I havn't heard a bad song from them so I guess it's good |

Sure I know The Flaming Lips; even got their most recent album Yoshimi battles the pink robots in my possession. It's not *that* new, btw, I think it was released several months ago already (bought it very soon after the release).
If you liked The Soft Bulletin, go get their new album; you won't be disappointed. It's a bit more homogenic in its nature, more atmosphere in the album on the whole, and with a theme about a little Japanese girl battling huge pink robots, what else would you wish for? |

btw, if anyone wants to look into their music, I suggest checking out the songs She don't use Jelly (yes, I know it's grammatically wrong; but don't tell me, tell *them* ), Race for the Prize and Waiting for Superman. You'll have their most famous songs in a nutshell; a good introduction to their sound on the whole.

Ya, I saw them open for Candlebox at our highschool gym about 10 years ago. That is in Richland, WA at Richland High. They are pretty good. I went to see them, not Candlebox.
