Is it just me, or does antbody else thinks that it takes alot longer time to load after written a message, etc?
It's really annoying...

Actually, I had that problem prior to the upgrade, but now the board is faster than ever to me.

I'm having a really hard time loading the whole post at times to be honest. Most of the time it's pretty much instantaneous but at other times it just doesn't want to load which doesn't seem right considering I run a T1 connection.

Loading times have gotten better, generally, sometimes they're abysmally poor, I think it's because people are using their sigs a lot more since they don't have to remember to check the Show Signature box anymore.

Oh irony, the moment I posted this, the board began to slow down to me suddenly.
But anyway, I agree with Neb, the loading time is better except for certain threads... But knowing people hardly forgot to use sigs in the past before the upgrade, I somehow doubt that's making a big difference...

Ziroc, have you ever heard of a program called modgzip? I heard someone mention it at the Ikonboard forums once, and it could run cgi scripts up to 50 times faster. MySQL is also a good way of speeding up things, but I have no idea whether the UBB forum software supports usage of MySQL or modgzip...

The only thing I think is pretty ugly looking are the threads themselves - there aren't any borders around the messages, if you know what I mean.

I found this annoying too. Maybe Ziroc can change that.
