We have a favorite gelato shop we go to. Paciugo.
Gelato : the famous Italian frozen bit of heaven. Creamier than ice-cream, smooth as silk and oh so very great. but only in Texas do you get these flavors. (cut and paste from the email I received today) Quote:

I am still of the opinion that there are some places jalapenos should not be... and ice cream or anything resembling ice cream is definately one of them. or two of them....
Anywho... I thought these flavors were a joke until I saw who it was from - Paciugo is not in the habit of humor in their emails, only promotion. So I looked again.... Just plain weird.

"hey" charean, thankyou for the laymen's term definition of
gelato. I was about to say that I am not a coffie drinker. buffulo sauce in ice cream? YUCK! it is intresting how fads and food styles are regenal. we here in the akron ohio area cut potato's in 1/4ths longways and cook them in a light, salty breading, and we call them "jojo's" |
