You "Use" the instruments from your screen just as if it were a potion, while pointing at whoever you're "casting" the music at. For example, the Lute of Tranquility, "use" it while pointing at the opponents to try to put them to sleep.

Dragon Fire is just the default icon that's there until you get other traits. Eventually you'll get that trait, but it's much later in the game.

With the golden lamp, you can wish for up to 6 different things (only one per character, and make sure to drop it before the Djinn snatches it away!) You can get: HP increase, magic weapon, magic armor, all attributes increased, magic amulet, or the Arms of Argus trait (+hit and damage bonuses on melee).

Hiya Newbie! I just wanted to say that is a really cute sig you got there. Oh and to get the wishes from the lamp, you must "use" it too. It is a good idea to save before you begin wishing in case you mess up or change your mind, then Let the one person who has the lamp in their inventory "use" it on the person below them, like when you use a mana potion; then when the Blue Jeanie appears, go into the inventory and drop the lamp on to the ground. After you get that wish, the Jeanie will disappear and the next person can pick up the lamp and make a wish too. You can do this with each person in your party. There are some really good wishes to choose from. If you want to know more about them, you can search for "wish" threads or check in the "Bet Tips" threads for advice or details about the wishes available; or check Ricks' site here: http://www.volberding.com/WHints/index.html I think Rick may have descriptions of each possible wish you can have at his site.

Good luck to you and your adventurers!
