Default Death avenged

With Demon Prince Drakkar Blue Coat dispatched (see Knock-Knock thread), the entry way clear, Baron Andre-Do-Urden, Lord Ranger of the realm returned to camp for supplies.

Upon re-entry, Andre came face to horn with Cerebus, Lord of Chaos of the 9 Hades. The demon looked him over and spat out some words of "Sending a boy to finish what a man could not?" Andre, not too keen on conversation, only mumbled a "Call of Nature Intervention" spell. As the demon drew back to fire a rocket, a tree of willow diverted the rocket up and away from it's line of attack.

As the fight continued and both contestants tiring rapidly, both took a moment to breath and measure their adversary. Andre muttered a spell of "nature's wrath", and observed as rubble fell from the ceiling smacking the metallic demon like hail striking a tin roof. It was at this juncture when Cerebus did call for demonic intervention. Now faced with two devils to fight, Andre consumed a potion of herbal might and let loose with the mighty scythe "Snickersnee", slicing the inferior demon completely in half, and landing a crushing blow into the chest of Cerebus. Cerebus now stunned, spoke in his metallic voice, and claimed that thou he has misjudged his opponent, he shall not gain entry, and thus so, summoned a demon from the high court. Tiring, Andre did not change his focus and again swung the mighty scythe across the upper torso of the stunned demon, landing yet another blow that would have killed many a dragon, much less any human mortal. Weak, chest ripped open, the Lord of Chaos, called for raining fire. Unbeknownst to Cerebus, Andre did in fact place the ring upon his own finger, and stood amidst the rain of fire unharmed. Andre called to the power of the ring upon his other finger and banished the summoned demon back to the high court. Defenseless, chest ripped open, and fire raining down, Cerebus asked for a truce, a bond of passing, formed deep in the depths of the nine planes. Andre, full of hatred and rage, did not stop, and did not listen to the plea of his father's killer, but rather, consumed his last vial of herbal might, gripped "Snickersnee" tightly with both hands and removed the head from the open torso of the Demon Lord Cerebus. It was at this moment in time when Baron Andre-Do-Urden, Lord Ranger of the Realm, did cut the heart from the metallic lining of the severed demon Cerebus, Lord of Chaos of the 9 Hades, washed it with holy water, and dropped it into a cloth satchel of nevermore.

Exhausted, famished and dehydrated almost to the point of hysteria, Andre did call for nature awareness and nature protection and consumed 1/2 of a vial of herbal replenishment. A glyph of warding did settle around him, and the heavy breathing and snorting familiar to a Griffon was was heard settling down near to were the entryway once stood.

Bleeding stopped, and the warmth of nature flowing through his veins, the wounds would heal in time, and time is needed now to rest. So did Andre close his eyes in the middle of his protective coak, under the watch of the summoned Griffon.
