I soloed Baron Rivendare

w00t!

Ok, perhaps it's just an old 60 instance. But I've heard who people managed to solo this place. So I wanted to try it myself.

I died twice, one time to the stupid eye, the one that will yell "the living is here!" while I was in a middle of a group. second I died while fighting the elites skeletons that will spawn after you kill those big fellas in front of Baron's tower.

I couldn't make the 45 minute as I forgot to kill the people inside the 3 ziggurat. Had to backtrack to kill them so I waste time there.

Baron himself was a push over. He didn't do anything at first when I sprinted to him and started to attack him, perhaps he ws shocked to see me.

He died quite easily when i pump AR+BF+Trinket+Evasion. Still I had to down a health pot though.

Too bad he didn't drop his mount.

Now that I can solo this place, perhaps I can go here regularly to farm him for his mount.

I used to do it regularly on my Warlock, as Demo spec or Afflic.

I could also do it within 45minutes, for the mount, but it never dropped. But Baron was hardish for me.

I know, the mount is not even worth trying for IMO. I used to solo it on my Pally and never saw the thing. I despise those eyes too.

How can you dispise the eyes? As soon as they spawn you hit them. They get 1 shotted. Easy.

And the Barons mount is the rarest drop in the whole game. The chances of seeing it are incredibly rare. Its like 0.0001%.

I did see a guy that got 2 tho.

I think I saw an undead rogue riding the baron's mount. However since undead's mount seems similar to the baron's mount. I couldn't be sure.

I would love to solo Mgt for kael's chocobo. However I doubt at this level I can solo a 70's dungeon yet. Let alone a heroic version.

ACtually, I've been wanting to do this to get the Piccolo. How do you get past the skeletons at the main entrance? Can you stealth past them? They can see stealth.

I don't think you can solo MgT unless you're insanely geared. The bosses just before Kael are a pain.

Solo MgT is impossible. Full stop. It will still probably be impossible at level 80, looking at gear.

And the Picalo is off the human side, its not too hard to solo, Mem, you just have to DPS them down as far as I know. If you cant do it, wait til you have better gear.

Actually, have you gone into MgT yet mate? We wiped a few times with 5 people. That's a tough instance.
