1\ The gesen bow shaft can be found in the underwatercity or something right?(I cant recall where I found it last time)

2\ Whats the best Long Bow out there and where do I find it?

3\First time I finished Baldurs Gate I made all chars on my own, now im playing with the npcs...so I was wondering if this party would last trough the game:

1. Me-Archer
2.Minsc
3.Valygar
4.Yoshimo
5.Aerie
6.Jeaheira

And is there any npcs in the game that is from the monk class? Monks owns so bad.

3\There is a shield that reflects missiles from beholders. I know that it can be bought in the adventures mart later in the game but does this require a kind of item patch or something, its been a long time since I have played this game.

Shaft is found in skinner's cellar in Bridge District. String is found in maze in Asylum.

Party will last... ....for some time. (No spoilers from me)

Yes, you need to download those merchants. Check some posts, I don't know where is it.

Non-spoiled answers:

3. Your party looks good enough. I'd suggest changing Yoshimo with Jan to get more fun, and to get an additional Mage. I can spoil you more, but IMO that would be too bad of me.
4. The shield is called the Shield of Balduran, and is sold by Deidre, the merchant that comes with ToB, and the Bonus Merchants.

1. Shaft is found in the Bridge District, in the big box in the Tanners basement. The string is in a chest guarded by three golems in the maze in Spellhold.

2. The Mana Bow is good, and can be found in some cave in one of the three new areas after the Underdark. If you have ToB, I suggest the Taralash, found in Watcher's Keep.

I have finished the game once so all spoilers are welcome =)
Thanks for the help all...

Btw who is jan?(I swear i have heard of him but its such a long time I've played this game, male right? blonde err sumthing) and another mage would always be welcome but not at the cost of my only thief. I always need a thief, to steal, disarm traps and even more important: detect them. Yeah you can detect them with the wizard spell but can u disarm them? and open loks is a plus too =)

I got the shaft, I just need the string...so there it was aye, thanks for the tip =)

Jan, or Jan Jansen, may be found in the Government District. He is below the little park's fountain and is trying to sell his illegal turnips (or something like that). You merely have to side with him in the little argument with the law. If you do that, he'll give you the option to have him join you. He is a dual classed Male Gnomish Thief/Mage. He is slightly weak in both classes. Though he can backstab, it is inadvisable as he is quite weak physically. However, he is great support and (if you like his type of humor) quite a funny guy. Overall, I recommend him. In addition, he will make Kelsey some sort of gear if you have downloaded the Kelsey mod.

Wizards are quite useful for getting rid of traps. Using the cleric spell Find Traps you may locate them. However, most people that have played the game once or twice through know most of the traps. As such, you don't really need to locate them unless you plan to disarm them. Anyway, back to Wizards! With Wizards Stoneskin is a very good spell for traps. Many of the traps may simply be "disarmed" (That is, tripped) without any harm. However, Petrification will still kill you. For this, the level 1 spell Protection from Petrification should suffice. Spell Immunity can also be quite useful if you can identify from what school the trap is.

heh so u disarm traps by walking on them...well I like the other way that gives you some exp too =)

Well, the disarming by walking on them was for a party w/o a thief primarily. I suppose it could be used with a party that has a thief with basically 0 find/disarm traps. I typically prefer to play solo, at least lately, meaning that I don't have a thief in my party. That's why I use the step on the trap to disarm it thing =)
