i just went to that baldurdash website and it had tons of cool stuff! but i was wondering if all of the stuff is safe, and making sure that it won't wreck my game or anything?

It is safe, but pls read the notes etc that come with the fixes.

The Baldurdash fixes are arguably the most widely used unofficial patches for BG2.

From what I have read in the README file, the Fixpack is a must-have, for it fixes so much bugs!

Not so much a must-have as a should-have. It isn`t necesary to run the fixpack before you play; but the recomended way is to run the Official Patch, then the Baldurdash Fixpack. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Heh... I do not have the possibility to carry Official Patch home because it is too big to be carried in a single diskette, and lots of them mean lots of trouble while extracting. Only the fixpack was installed, and I am quite satisfied by it.
