Errmmmmmm, well im thinking of playing this "wild mage" but i need to know if its worth it, or if its fun. Plus i need a few pointers with the wild magic spells, and their tables too, i cant find 'em and i seem to have lost the manual. Thanks in advance.

There are only 3 "wild magic spells," and all Wild MAges know them automatically--you don't need to scribe a scroll. Chaos Shield and Improved Chaos Shield make your Wild Surges less likely to have negative effects, and Nahal's Reckless Dweomer pretty much guarantees you'll get a Wild Surge of some kind. Go to either
www.planetbaldursgate.com or wwww.gamebanshee.com then go to their Baldur's Gate 2 section, and from there to their Spells pages.

Sorry but can you tell me WHEN/HOW wild surges occur ? Due to the loss of the manual i cant look it up.

There is a 5% chance every cast that a wild surgr will occur.
Or when you cast Nahal's Reckless Dweomer. Also, every time you cast a spell your casting level is any between 5 levels lower and higher from your actual level. |

The second level spell Chaos Shield and sixth level (or is it seventh...) Improved Chaos Shield will prevent wild surges and improve the odds when you cast Nahal's Reckless Dweomer.. though surges occur with the latter spell
