... I have always been an obsessive collector. I collect postcards, I have thousands of the things. I collect all sorts of things. I knew, the first time I ever rode a scooter, that one would not be enough. And it wasn't.

So today in a moment of complete insanity, I spent the remainder of the spare cash I made on the sale of my flat on a 1969/70 Lambretta GP(DL) 125. It is gorgeous. I knew when I saw it that I had to have it. Reconditioned engine, resprayed in original colours and with original Italian graphics (gofaster stripes on the sidepanels and 'inkspot' on the leg guard).

Here it is, a pic of my new toy! And please nobody ask why I need 2 scooters, I have no answer.

Seriously though, congratulations Eppy! I can't imagine spending my last money on something like a second scooter

but it shows how much you like them. And I can think of nothing better to spend your money on than the thing you like best

LOL, well now you have two scooters to choose from depending on your mood of the day. You can switch back and forth accordingly!

*hmmm, I'm feeling Vespa today but tomorrow I must take the Lambretta I think*

I have seen alot of them dodge around me out of the corner of my eye but the most popular seems to be the Lambretta. Is that you Epona
