yeah, Prodigy is really original. and i loove it when musicians come up with original stuff .
and i said "so-called "eurotrash" because once in celebrity deathmatch, Prodigy`s Keith Flint fought with Celine Dion and then one of the hosts called him eurotrash, which i didnt really like.

The Prodigy, Voodoo People, Max Du Voyes, DJ Tiesto, VNV Nation, John Doe ect...

they are all my favortie groups. MP3.com has loads of "similar artists" but none of them (well except for the Shizit) even come close to being like them! they rock IMHO and If you havent heard them you should!

Tiesto isn't a group Death, it's one guy from Breda (holland) and he recently got elected as best dj of the year 2002. So, you got cd's from him ? You can sure rave on that stuff ! Btw, ever heard of Deejay Jean ?

They even released a new single a few months back, called Baby's got a temper... Unfortunately it's horribly disappointing. If you think The Prodigy made *any* progress since The Fat of the Land was released in '97, you're wrong. This new song could have been one of the worst songs on The Fat of the Land back then and they *might* have gotten away with it... Now it's just a painful parody on themselves, on their past successes... They have even used a sample from Firestarter, of all their hits maybe the one that got played to death the most! I'm sure that some people will probably don't care about all that, but to me, The Prodigy was best during Experience (from '92 I think), which is one of the few rave/breakbeat albums which are still listenable anno 2002... And that had always been their best feature, being progressive and catchy enough at the same time to please both the musical simpletons (let's call them the Top 40 followers, waddaya mean I'm a snub ) and the more serious music followers. The Fat of the Land wasn't that brilliant as their previous albums, but it was okay in its time... But to fall back on it 5 years later is horribly disappointing and The Prodidy unworthy. I wish they never released it in the first place.
Now let's just hope the upcoming album won't be as disastrous as Baby's got a temper, though...

Ah, now I like Firestarter and Breathe! Great tracks. Can't say I know much of their other stuff though.

check out "music for the Jilted generation" from prodigy. IMHO it blows "fat of the land" out of the water.
