The only way to make flash animations is with Macromedia Flash which is a part of Macromedia Studio MX, but in some instances it is sold stand-alone. It's VERY pricy, however, and the only cheap way to get it is with the student pricing... so if you're a student take advantage of it, otherwise you're pretty much going to have to lighten your wallet :/ Flash isn't just some little web animation tool, it is used to make many TV shows now as well including South Park, Kid Notorious, the Camp Chaos shows on VH1, All the logos on VH1, and the Cartoon Network show Yakety Yak, to name a few, since it can be used for such a professional reason, it's expensive, you see.

If you want to use it forever(I hope I don't get banned for this), short-circuit your BIOS battery.

Why? Just reset the clock through windows, it updates the same thing. Having the time set wrong will cause some hassle (internet security certificaes appear to be issued in the future and such like nonsense), so I would just pay for it if your going to use it.
