How do you deal with those annoying punks in your favourite MMO? I know Blizzard do the best job they can in protecting you and preventing griefing but like all games, there's always a few that find a way.

So if you're feeling down and powerless when it comes to children being children, never fear! This is what I do in said situations, feel free to add more of your own vengeful experiences .

Duel spamming: I despise the duel spams...if I wanted to duel I would have gone to a pvp server is how I see it and that is in turn what I tell them when im bombarded with challenges. Of course, their response is "Are you scared?" and thats when I go all McFly on them and beat em up . Another great thing to do if someone gets really annoying is accept the duel, and use a stun or hold on them (Rogue sap is ideal since it lasts long) then simply run off (works best when there are crowds of people watching).

Chest stealing: If you have just finished off a camp of mobs only to see someone rush in from the sidelines to steal your chest do what I do and announce it on the general channel. Something like "Beware of (name), chest and loot stealer - avoid". 9 out of 10 times I get an apology or excuse from the person at that point cuz they've just been publicly outted. 1 out of 10 times they don't care either way :-/.

Guild-charter spamming: I hate this. Someone who I can't even see is spamming a guild charter my way and will not stop until it is signed. The solution? Invite them to a team and keep doing so until they accept, then leave. Invite, leave. You can have fun with it too, invite, kick. Soon enough they get the message.

Hey, more may come to me as I play.

This happened to me yesterday, while its not griefing, i'd call it whining. I was in Stralth in 2 group baron raid. Lo and behold (surprised the hell out of me) Magisters belt drops. That is end set belt for mages, and a very rare drop. I roll, mage in other group rolls, I win. Now have 2 parts of set (I have magisters robes also) and is major upgrade on my belt. I mean MAJOR. So I get this whiny message from other mage-Why did you equip and not let me try to buy off you? After explaining that I actually needec item also she was still whining. Why should I sell something I can use myself? Its not greed on my part, its my class set! She had none of set at all, all I can say is do more raids, the robe drops in BRS. It just made me laugh though, why would I sell a class set piece I NEED, as I said I had a crappy belt. I dont need a couple hundred g to buy....what? Epic mount? Quite frankly not going to waste money on that lol. BTW this kinda sounds like a rant, is more of a wtf are you thinking kinda post. The karma thread seemed good for it
