I was thinking of old D&D computer games I'd love to see remade like Baldur's Gate.

My list:

The Darksun Series
The Eye of the Beholder Series
Stronghold
The Ravenloft Series
Menzoberanzan
Dungeon Hack

However, the Eye of the Beholder Series may be more like Icewind Dale, or the first Baldur's Gate game, where once you drop an NPC, they're gone forever.

And has anyone else noticed how close the game engines for Baldur's Gate and Darksun almost seem? Granted, Dark Sun is an OLD game, however it has the same 'choose your text' style of play, the same figured walking around the screen style, and even the same 'weapons with extra abilities' style. (Although the last one is a D&D thing really)

I always liked Spelljammer as a computer game. I have never played pnp so my experience is limited.

What was the second?

Technically, the FIRST D&D game I ever played was on a Commodore 64, and I can't even remember the game's name. All I remember is that you picked a class, and went around a dungeon and slayed stuff. Extremely old-school graphics and such...

Anyone remember the Commodore 64? I must have played on that thing from the age of 5-10...then we got an IBM, lol!

Eye of the Beholder wasn't actually a D&D game but I know what you mean, it's sort of an honourary ones because it used a lot of the ideas and it's a classic game anyway.
