Is the cave with the bronze machine the cave where i'm supposed to deliver the letter for hephestus & / the cave where i can finally get the dumb dragon to listen and give me the sword or is the cave entrance somewhere over by torin (the samurai who gets the special arrow in samurai quest).
If so how the heck do ya get around in there ; ya can only walk so far before having to swim for it & swimming doesnt work since ya have no control til ya get close to the end & can finally climb out to be back at the beginning. |

Yes, that's the cave and that's the entrance. There is a little receptacle like in the entrance to the stout mines, to put the letter in. The way is there. You have to cross the underground river, and jump over at least one hole in a tunnel somewhere beyond that. THe opening above Torin is the EXIT.
