If you've explored Marten's Bluff, then the phrase you need to speak to the shaman is in your journal. It begins with the word ETERNAL.

spoil me more plz, although i'm normally a good rpger i haven't played in a bit and my skill are a bit rusty, there is no eternal words in my journal

tell Shaman:Eternal trust survives the soul. As for the missing person, either talk to Croc and accept his quest(recommended) or kill Croc and behind him zou will find your missing member and some nice stuff for the beginning, too.

I agree with not killing Croc. At this point in the game, Croc is still useful to me as a merchant. If I kill him, I may get a handful of dropped items, but the ability to buy items of my choice is gone. If you decide to kill him and haven't yet purchased the Eau d' Rapax perfume, stop and buy this first. You'll need it later.

The fact the the Shaman's phrase isn't in your journal means that you haven't adequately explored Marten's Bluff. The correct sequence for getting to Marten's journal (where the phrase is written) is:

Get the T'Rang arm found at the ground level of Marten's Bluff
Take the elevator/lift down
Walk away from Z'Ant
To open the door with outline of the T'Rang hand on the touchpad, use the arm
Go through the door to the 'T' intersection in the hallway
Go right
Go through the next doorway
On the left are steps and a mural
Touch the mural
Answer 'Marten'
Fight the ghosts, search for hidden items, and get the Ebon gemstone.

You'll want the Ebon gem later.

The door opens as soon as you take the helm out of the chest. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

The serenity key opens the door to Marten's house.

Just around the beginning of the Rattkin area is a house with several rats in it and some straw or somesuch on the floor. Kill the rats and move the straw. Drop down to the chest with the Helm. Once you have the helm, you can open the door to leave.
