Sparkle *possible spoilers*

If you haven't met the NPC "Sparkle" yet, this gives away minor spoilers.


I don't know how anyone else feels about this Trynnie scout, but I find her absolutely hysterical. Adding that she's with the Umpani (and of rank, too) makes it doubly funny. I keep expecting somebody to say something about her, but no one has yet.

Some of the things she says crack me up, too! Like when she says, in surprise "It's locked!" when we come across a locked chest or when she says "You're going to be really proud of me!" when she levels up. I don't know; I'll probably find it growing old, but for now I just chuckle. I also know some people that would damage their own party before recruiting her!

Just curious about what anyone else thinks.

Nothing's wrong with her, or the other NPCs: it's possible to win with any of 'em, or none. I enjoyed the crazy humor of Sparkle's naive, Shirley Temple-like personality in that context, too.

Personally, just the sound of her voice drove me nuts. [img]graemlins/evillaughter1.gif[/img] I never recruited her.

I probably will eventually, just to experience that aspect of the game, but let's just say I'm not looking forward to it. [img]smile.gif[/img]

If you want a really good laugh (save before you do this), with Sparkle in your party, go behind the supply desk and push the red button. Pay attention to what she says.

I didn't keep her after that.
