Hey everyone.

For those of you who'd like to read an incredible series which isn't boring at all. Go check out The Drenai Saga, By David Gemmell. I swear it's the best series I've ever read. It's very addictive and each book has an incredible plot. The only thing is, they list the books out of order on the inside of the covers. If you want to know the order in which to read the books then just email me or post here.

If anyone else has read anything by David Gemmell, then tell me what you thought, cause so far I've heard only good things.

Yes, Actually the Waylander Series is within the Drenai Saga. I have read all books but Waylander 2 and Winter Warriors. I just wish stupid amazon.ca would send Waylander 2 already! it's taken well over the amount of time it was supposed to take.

Or try something different, more challenging... Read anything by Fjodor Dostojevsky. You won't be disappointed.

A big second to Robin Hobb, she's a very talented writer. I chewed through the Liveship series and just finished the first of the Assasin series in 3 days. I fear that like George R Martin I'll devour all of Robin's works and will have to wait impatiently for her next book. I'm a shamelessly picky reader... if the author isn't up to par I chuck the book after a few chapters, if he/she is good I'll read everything they've written in a matter of weeks/months.

In an effort to get enough good authors in the pipeline that I have more than one book a year coming out, I've been buying recommended authors from this site up and trying them out (Robin is one of those). Right now I've got my first Tad Williams series sitting at home ready to be taken for a test drive. I bought the whole "Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn" series at once because based on the feedback for the guy... it saved me a couple trips to the bookstore.

I just finished "Memory, Sorrow and Thorn", yesterday. Nice books but a little slow starting, but once the story picks up pace it is almost as good as "A Song of Ice and Fire".

Started reading "Sea of Swords", one of the latest RA Salvatore books, while waiting for "Golden Fool", the second book in the Tawny Man Trilogy by Robin Hobb

As a side note all those authers have their homepages
www.tadwilliams.com
www.robinhobb.com
www.georgerrmartin.com (has a link to an awsome fanpage)
www.rasalvatore.com
worth checking out while waiting for the next book
