To fix the game so that I can get maximum hit points at level up?

I started a game with the intention to get maximum hit points every time, but I am stuck at the first sign of trouble. Jahiera leveled up and I saved before she did so I can re-load if she doesn't get the max hp, but the game jut won't give me the maximum?! I've re-load about 20 or more so times(more like 50...) and it just won't give me the max.

So is there a way to fix the game so that it will give me the maximum? Changing some variables? Some mod? Anything?

I am not sure, but perhaps lower difficulty helps?

If you know what the maximum is, edit it artificially with Gatekeeper (www.mud-master.com).

Hmmm I though about that...maybe I should try.

And yes, I though about editing can, but that won't be it if you know what I mean.

I think if you drop the difficulty to easy, then you should get max hp upon level up. You do in BG2, I know. Also, remember Jaheira is a Druid/Fighter, that may be causing some confusion, I'm not sure.

Dropping the difficulty level will not give you MaxHP on level up. The BG1 Ease-of-Use mod though, will.

Hmmm....but Ease-of-use mod will also do some undesirable things like removing Xp cap.

Do you perhaps now what files in that mod specifically will bring the max hp effect?

Edit: no matter, I unzipped it and it was there. Thanks.
