Mirror shards(HotU)spoilers

I am having real problems locating the mirror shards, I have the one from the library, and the wizards tower, could not find one in the temple and I have the compass from the merchant but cannot locate that one either, please spoil me,save me walking around like a pillock doing nothing.

Alright, if I remember right there's one in the library, one in a junk pile somewhere, one in the wizard tower and I think the bad Drow have the last one.

I can't remember for sure, though, but as long as you've visited all the buildings and scoured every container, talked to every NPC and such, then the only thing you should be missing should be the one concealed in a junk pile that you need the compass for.

The way I recall it, you activate the compass and then wander around purposelessly, and you should get a little dialogue when you get near the correct junk pile or container. I'm pretty sure it's somewhere east of where you bought the compass.
