is there any other way to get off that island than killing all of them off?
I'm running a solo ranger (level 7), and have already ran out of magical arrows and only have a short sword +1
thx for all help

You have to kill Dezkiel to get Shandalar's Cloak (x 711 y 259) to be able to leave the island.

Wrong Island Insanebane!

If you completed the quests properly of killing the other werewolf leader than you are probably missing the secret entrance (takes you to an underground tunnel) in one of the larger werewolf houses. I believe it is the first one on the left as you enter the walled area. If you didn't do things correctly you could be looped.

I hate to break it to you dplax, but you might be screwed. Those Wolfweres can be tough bastards to kill, especially the fights in the ship. Attempting this island with a Solo Ranger with crappy items wasn't exactly a wise idea--ALWAYS do a quest with a party, before you try it with a Solo character.

My advice: Stealth. Lots of Stealth. And then some more Stealth. Kill only what you have to, and pray you survive long enough to cram your fist down Mendas's throat for sending you to this damned place.

just a question dplax, how many times have u actually completed the game? b4 doing a solo i would recommend completing the game a few times and getting used to everything. Dont let that put u off however, u seem to have gotten pretty far on ur solo, unless u started from TotSC.

Contemplating a theif dualed to cleric for soloing purposes? Any ideas? It seems to be a fairly potent combo. Although after dualing I would be a relatively weak Cleric. What level should I dual at to regain my abilities before exp cap?

I have already run the game a few times up to Sarevok, though I have never killed him, and this was the first time I tried the game in solo
i got to the ship, cleaned out the first and the third level (the second is still full), the third I did with the help of a lightning trap on a chest, but I can't get the mage's book, back for him, also which amulet is better here?
amulet of protection +1 or lycanthrope's amulet?
I have already cleaned out everything but the ship, luring the wolfweres off one by one, but in the ship, the trouble is they come at once
also is an armorclass of -4 good enough?

id say its ok. i have a few guys with lower A.C and the best u can get is -12 if u have TotSC. Give us a list of what u are wearing. For a solo however i would have though u would have had a bit lower than that.

Firestormalpha: Id say dualling later on would be a good idea. Since ur soloing wait til about level 8 or something at least as a decent thief has to have at least that amount of levels. U shouldnt find it that hard to get ur xp up quickly provided u leave some of the easier quests and ul have quite a lot of hp so u should be ok!!
