I realize that that this may be the wrong forum to ask since this question may have already been answered at an earlier time, but... Does anyone know if there is any kind of sequel to planescape:torment that was my favorite crpg (even better than BG2). I ask because I know that the wonderous people here at Ironworks are working on undermountain so a guy can hope.

Welcome to IW dude.
Unfortunately Bioware have put out that they are not going to make a sequal as the first game didn't make as much as they'd have liked.

I haven't played the game yet but it's on my list of things to do as soon as I find somewhere that sells it

I would berate you for not playing Planescape yet but I haven't tried Neverwinter yet( I can't help it I am married with 2 kids, I have no time or money). In case you haven't heard I personally can say that I have never played anything like Planescape before, where your alignment is not set at the begining but is determined by your actions. I can't say enough about it.

You've got the same sort of alignment thing in NWN but not to the same effect I think. You choose your alignment at the beggining and it changes depending on how you act towards certain plots and quests

I'm not married and don't have kids but still don't have any time or money But the other prob is not seeing it available for sale in stores over here for more than a year now.

I bought Planescape online a few months back, so it is definately out there. Cost me all of $15 with shipping and handling

Its like reading a graphical novel... the D&D system is autrocious as usual, and the graphics and interface are fairly outdated. However, the story is as good as it gets... and the NPCs (particularly your sidekick) are fantastic. Its at the polar opposite end of Diablo.
The only thing I didn't like about the game was when I actually had to fight.

Bioware may not make it, but Feargus Urquhart (president of Black Isle Studios) stated in one of the designer diaries for Icewind Dale II that Torment II might be a possibility. Of course, so was Torn.
