Okay, I've been in here for about a week trying to get the ashes to produce Kerah so I can get the oblisk of light and nothing happens. I've been around everywhere except behind one of the guardians in the altar room and I can't figure out how to get back there. I got behind the other one by pushing in the guardian figure on the floor above and following it in. There was a chest there and nothing more of interest that I can see except that I was behind that big guardian in the holy altar room. I have all the clues from the "search" and have done everything that I found there -including the baboon bridge. What on earth am I missing. . . I give up, will someone please give me the royal spoiler?

Try to CARRY the other statue in the room with Anephas' altar - pull it back into the room and out of your way so you can get to the passage behind (should be the se section of the room). This leads to a series of corridors and a minor lever puzzle and eventually to a room which has water running across the room. At the very back is another altar with a chest next to it. In that chest is a figurie of Kerah which you put on that altar. This causes a pillar to rise out of the cental pool of water in the room - think of the pillar as an elevator - you want to ride it up. You will need to look for a lever on the wall as you are swimming up and THEN you will get to see Kerah!!
Don't forget to explore outside her area too. It may look like water walls, but you can swim through them! Examine the portal there (near Kerah) too to get the obelisk of light!
