Hi everybody.
I'm kind of new on this forum.
I've seen people saying they don't play with 6 characters anymore. Can anyone give me a good explanation for that ?
Also,is there anything interesting about the bard class? What are they really good at?Carrying all the music instruments doesn't seem to be of much help as they can't use them all the time in a battle.Just 3 or 4 times or something around this.

One reason for playing with less than six players is that you characters get stronger. When you kill enemies, the experience you get is split between the number characters you have, so the less characters, the more experience! I personally play with 4 characters, (one for each of the starting classes), but sometimes want less. It also makes the game a bit more challenging if you have less characters.

hey, silence.
another question for you(or anyone else).
Do you think it's a good idea to start with a priest, wait until he learns important vine spells and then change to monk ?

Are you talking about starting with ONLY a monk? or do you mean as a party member? If as a party member, you should definitely take one because of his healing and vine spells. As for changing him to a monk, that is up to you. I personally chose to change mine into a paladin after I got all the vine spells. This you can have the vine and healing spells and a very decent fighter. I have not really looked into a monk that much, but that is just because it is not one of the characters I desired to have on my team. It is mostly personal preference. If you choose to make him a monk that is fine, you won't really be losing out on anything, you will just have a different style.

NOOOOOO.
I'm talking about starting with 4 characters,1 of them being a priest.
I am only thinking that it's gonna get hard to kill the damn amazonian mantraps with only one warlock. But,what the hell
i'll do it.Now,if i set monster difficulty on hard will i get more experience when i kill them ?

When I killed those forsaken mantraps, I ONLY used a wizzard! Not even a warlock. But I would suggest going with a priest. You should have at least one of each of the four starting classes, that way you get a wider range of things. And yes, if you put difficulty on high, you get more exp.

Use of Bard: musical instruments (not very devastating though), moon and fiend spells, decent fighter, allowed to use thieving, and two class specific traits: trickery and iron lung. Still not my favorite class though.
Each class may learn a number of traits, but not all. The class-specific traits you may only learn while being that class, and several traits are available only to a selection of classes, like Backstab and Tiger Strike. But I estimate that it's a minority, so most will still be available to you.

I promoted to Bard just for Iron Lung and Trickery. Also so I could invoke the Assassin Dagger for Death Strike. I think the music instruments are useless because there are no good ones.
