i just 'rescued him from the underdark and fought off the first wave of revenge spiders but my question is this.
could i SK him to a pure fighter because i have no need for a another mage in my party. will this cause a bug in the mod? its the most recent update for him.

Couldn't you just not use his mage abilities?

It'll make the Eclipse challenge a nightmare...
Plus he will probably be a less powerful fighter if you single-class him. But yeah, I can't think of any specific plot thing that requires the use of mage abilities so I don't see why it wouldn't work. Better check that the two possible 'gifts' from Ellistrae don't require a mage though... |

Yeah, you can safely convert him to a fighter. I made him a thief once and everything worked out fine.
