Ok, I have tried to search this forum for a same kind of bug (too many topics without an answer) so I decided to post a question here no matter how much it can irritate someone

I have installed and uninstalled Soa many times(close to 10) and allways find the same bug. I cant change the formation of my NPC's, cant use the special buttons (spot traps etc...) and cant move my own character alone. When I load a save everything works just fine for about 30 seconds and WHAM!

I saw a topic about how Radeons and XP can cause some trouble. I have AMD Athlon XP 2600, Club 3D Radeon 9600 Pro, and yes Windows XP. Could the problem come from these?

Oh, allmost forgot. I have installed some of the patches in baldurfix and the official bioware patch and still nothing works. Any clues what should I do exept not to play(That's not an option as most of you can agree ).

-Install SoA.
-Install the Official Patch.
-Install the Baldurdash Fixpack.
THE INSTALL ORDER IS IMPORTANT

-Make sure screen resolution is default 800*600.
-Install the latest RADEON graphics drivers (search on ATI.com).

The game should then work absolutely fine

Additionally, a save game can occasionally become corrupted.

This means that no amount of reloading will fix it, so be sure to make regular backup save games.

Do you have a Logitech keyboard? If so, remove the drivers, because they screw up some programs.
