Why can't female protagonist be Minsc's "WITCH"

I doubt a Minsc romance would be in great demand
They should finish that Valygar romance first (it was intented to be official, I think, but they cut it out due to lack of time)

Nope--if Aerie's not in the party and Nalia is, Minsc will take her as his witch.

And I would be the first user of a Minsc-themed romance. ("Minsc has the face that all the ladies love!" ehehehehe)

I've never tried it myself, but I could have sworn that I've read back posts at IW that tell of Nalia becoming Minsc's witch. A casual browsing, and I can't find any. Please tell me I'm not going crazy. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

I am not aware of any cases where Nalia becomes Minsc's witch, although it could be a component of the Nalia's Romance( highly unlikely though).

Hmmm either you are going crazy Pirengle [img]tongue.gif[/img] or it indeed is a mod that makes Nalia become Minsc's witch that you read about as I had Nalia and Minsc in a party for a very long time together and nothing like this happened. Shame it would have been pretty cool. Oh well...

Quite. BUt it seems so obvious to me really: Magicky-type female PC, Minsc choses her as his witch (Besides Malinde whinges less than Aerie)

Dreamer: A Minsc romance wouldn't be in demand? How could any girl resist that sense of humour (Evil round every corner, careful not to step in it). Although you'd have to separate him from that damn Hamster first I don't think Boo would approve

I don't think there will ever be a Minsc Romance, because Minsc simply can't comprehend that sort of thing. His behavior is that of a small child with no idea of what is or is not sexually appropriate conduct--consider his "salve" banter in ToB. Aerie doesn't take the request personally because she knows that Minsc didn't really mean anything bad by it; he just doesn't know. And it's a good thing that the PC understands this as well, because if anyone else (Edwin, say) had made the same speech to *my* Romance, they'd be dead in 3 seconds flat. I suppose you could make a Minsc Romance where you educate him in the ways of love, but you'd have to go all the way down to Minsc's level, and that's way too much like pedophilia for me. I'm more comfortable with the concept of the Imoen Romance.

I also think a Valygar Romance would be unlikely, since he considers his bloodline to be cursed and wants to ensure that the family ends with him. Kinda tough to Romance a guy who's taken a vow of celibacy, although platonic snugglebunnies are OK too. But then again, if you're going to take the trouble of writing a Valygar Romance, you might as well edit him to be willing to have kids after Lavok has been taken care of. But he still shouldn't Romance any spellcasting classes.

There will *NEVER* be a Jan Romance, since that would mean a TOTAL re-write of the Lissa/Hidden quest. Hey, wait a minute....
