At level 8 my ninja is equipped with a throwing...

At level 8 my ninja is equipped with a throwing weapon combo at first weapon and doubleshoot sling at alternate weapon.
And Yes my Ninja already have a hit without dammage with his sling.

Perhaps you can take a Monk instead of a pure spellcaster. He has the psionic spellbook and very good fighting abilities...and your party will be more balanced because i thnk it's more difficult to...
