As night fell The bard broke his long silence, "We should find somewhere safe to camp, shadows are strong when the moon is out, and any light we can provide would greatly help us in warding ourselves. Of course staying out in the open would be sheer lunacy, especially with those Peryton's and dragons about, let alone lord knows what else.
"We should also decide watches, Andrion since you have to re-memorize your spells, it might be best for you to take the last watch, so that we can get an early start in the morning, without waiting for you to pore through your tomes, or try and make you study on horseback."
The bard began scanning the area for suitable cover, a rocky overhang, or other easily defended spot.
