No, they are free spirits. They do what they want, when they want, without regard for the consequences. This is different than the 2nd edition AD&D, where they were psychopaths. If you read the alignment descriptions when you start a new character, it describes them quite well. Neutral is another alignment they changed greatly, but I'll leave that for your reading.[/QUOTE]Great post,
The best example of chaotic neutral is Saemon Havarian from baldurs gate 2. Saemon would work for good or evil, betraying either as long as he could make a profit, or a hasted escape. Totally untrustworthy,unpredictable but very interesting. These people usally hang around lawful characters for a sense of direction (good or evil)but usually venture off on selfish escapades.
