Don't blame the media too much. They only print what people to read and death is probably one of the biggies. We're all fascinated to some degree by it.

It would be nice to see people not buy the paper when an article like that is in there, or even cancel their subscription. It just doesn't happen though.

...just remember, they don't care what they print as long as it sells ads!

As far as the open casket that's ridiculous to me. If you care that much you should see the person in life, not in death. And forget about saying goodbye, or I'm sorry etc, it won't be heard.
