Actually I think it's "vita, mortis, careo". Careo means something like "be without, lack, want", so I think it's quite logical with vita and mortis. Anyway, as Vedran suggested, I have asked the Bioware boys (or girls) to reveal this secret. Hope the answer is coming soon.
