Years go by
If you rest for 365 days (or play for, since I haven't rested or playtested this), does your character age by 1 year?
Does anyone know this? Playtesters/Developers? Reason I'm asking is I think it should NOT age the character by a year, as there are ways to count the days and make a "year" out by the designer (adding a year to the age of a character should be designer set, or at least there should be an automated way to design aging). There are multiple ways to count days and thus count years. I can show anyone the tricks I know for this, and it will be in the guide as well. ;) -SilentThief |

Hmm. Don't know. Never tried it. I haven't done much with passing time. Steve McDonald is the one to ask on this.

Re: Years go by
Yes, DC does age every character by one year if 365 days pass. It seems everyone has the same birthday. :)

Re: Years go by
The same B-day isn't the problem, I think the designer should be able to set the year length.

Sounds like another request at SourceForge... ;)

Re: Years go by
Yeah, there are a few tricks for keeping track of days that go by for doing a time-sensitive quest (like "oh no! We need to get to the capital to prevent the murder of the king in one week!!!"). I was trying to work on a calendar idea, and when playing around with this I had to ask the question of the year and length.
-SilentThief PS, and I'll get the request at sourceforge ;) |
