Girls = Time x Money
-And as we all know "time is money."
Time = Money
-therefore:
Girls = Money x Money -> (Money)^2
-And because "money is the root of all evil."
Money = Square root of evil
-Therefore
Girls = (Square root of evil)^2
-And then we are forced to conclude that:
Girls = Evil

This is only something that my maths teacher told us, blokes had a laugh but the chicks pouted, twas' pretty funny!

Actually there is a refutal and another refutal to this age old piece.

men = time x money x girls x sex
time = money
men = money x money x girls x sex
girls = sex
(from your proof):
girls = evil
evil = sex
men = money^2 x evil^2
"Money is the root of all evil":
money = squareroot(evil)
money^2 = evil
men = evil^3
girls = evil

Therefore men are more evil than girls (under the assumption that evil is more than one).
I have seen other continuations of this fluff.

And therefore men = girls^3

Better one. Assume power is proportional to work rate (faster you work, promotion etc)

Therfore -
Power = Work/Time

It is already known that -
Time = Money
Knowledge = Power

Therfore, substituting for 1st equation -
Knowledge = Work/Money

Rearranging this -
Money = Work/Knowledge

Therefore, if work done is constant, knowledge is inversely proportional to money, ie the smarter you are the less money you make and vice versa.

Melcheor: Agreed. I didn't make this "proof" I just passed it on. Also the equation you posted are often attributed to Dilbert. I am not sure it is true, but perhaps you know?

Jorath: Hhmmm. Actually if you assume sex=good and good is the inverse of evil you wind up with men=good. Go figure :D .
