I need to figure out how many and what kind of dweomers to put on myblade because a normal just won't CUT it.
THANKS -supercowman |
Say what ? Could you be a little more specific ?

The Dwemer have been dead for 1000 years and the only thing left of them is their dungeons and their artifacts so, what are you talking about?
Are you trying to put the souls from Daedra lords you have captured in soul gems as enchantments on a sword? If this is what your talking about then open the small booklet that came with the game and go to page 39 and read and follow the instructions on Enchanting items or, go find a mage at the Mage Guild and find the enchanter and pay them to do it for you! |
Dweomers -> Magics, spells, enchantments.
The charge value of a daedric longsword and what combination of effects to use to make the most effective one. |
Dwemer doesn't have an "O" or "S" in it, not even when your speaking of more than one. It's one of those words that is spelled the same when you speak it as plurl or singular. Now grant it I'm not even close to being a good speller but Legolas I know you are so, to keep up your good name it's not Dweomers. It's just Dwemer.
Now there is a class of intelligent & powerful War Spirits in the service of the Deadra Lord Mehrunes Dagon called "Dremora" and the more power Dremora Lord and I think these are the creatures both Legolas and Supercowman are speaking of. Dwemer = The Dwarven Peoples that are no longer around just their Ruins. Dremora & Dremora Lords = class of spirit warriors that Guard the treasures of the Dwemer and their ruins. Dunmer = The still living Dark Elves and the Traitor Dagoth Ur. Oh for crying out loud:
A dweomer is a spell, the Dwemer are dwarves! There's a difference. SO D'oh, there's a huge difference between a Dweomer and a Dwemer. Infact, the wor Dwemer doesn't exist. |
Some hints:
1. Use only "400 souls", that means souls of Golden Saints and Ascended Sleepers. You will need grand soul gems or the Azura Star for it. 2. Start with adding the cheapest enchantments. Note that every new enchantment doubles the price of all already added enchantments. 3. Consider adding a short term Soul Trap "cast when strikes". Your weapon will try to catch every soul it hits. A few seconds (say, 10) is enough. Note that the weapon will strike again and again so that the Soul Trap will be reset again and again. 4. When you add a magic bonus attack (fire, etc.) then do not forget than many creatures have 20% Spell Reflection. It's an ability, not a spell, therefore, the monster need not cast it and the Spell Reflection will never wear off. Select an element, which you are most immune to. Otherwise, the weapon can harm you seriously. 5. Add a healing spell cast on you yourself "cast when strikes". It's possible. The weapon will heal you with every strike and make you almost unkillable. Note: pure heal is better than lifesteal. It's cheaper and do not forget the Spell Reflection. |
I'll be darned: never heard that word for a spell before.
Since the Daedric longsword only has 18 enchantment points, I'd definetly choose a 'cast when strikes' spell: constant effect spells require far more points to be effective. The thing about having it absorb health rather than do other damage is that it functionally can't be reflected onto you. Not sure why this is, but its true. True though, that you'll get more healing out of restore than absorb. Overall, it seems to me that fewer opponents have shock resistance than anything else. Honestly, with either absorb health or restore health [BE SURE, if using restore, you choose SELF: otherwise, you'll heal your enemies :)] You'll be so 'uber' the game may not be as fun, even with the difficulty set to max... The number of enchantement points needed on the particular enchantement depends on the enchanter's Enchant skill. Enchant with the skill = 100 or by a master trainer of enchanting and the 18 EP will be enough.
The value of the soul specifies how many "charges" the enchanted weapon will have. That's why a "400 soul" should be used preferably. You will get "charges 400". Also, you will not go too high with the enchantment. Otherwise, the weapon would act only a few times and then it would need bags of EP for restoring. |
